Between Kołobrzeg and Gąski Lighthouse (54°14.7'N, 15°52.4'E) the coast
is wooded and consists of sand dunes, which are steep to on the seaward
side. About 6 miles ENE from Kołobrzeg, on the coast known seaside
resort is Ustronie Morskie.

at the mole-head. On the east side of the mole, between wooden
breakwaters, there is beach harbour for local fishing boats.

General information:
Ustronie Morskie is a fishing village situated on the Central Pomerania
coast, 12 km east of Kołobrzeg. Population is about 3500. The village
is also a known seaside resort where cliffs fall steeply to the sandy
beach. Apart from the cliffs on the coast an additional attraction at
Ustronie Morskie is a seaside park situated in the eastern part of the
area. The resort has several hotels which are prominent on the
foreshore. The first written record about a fishing settlement
comes from the 13th century. There are still well maintained
fishermen's cottages of frame construction from the 17th century.
There is a fishing harbour formed by pier and wooden breakwaters.
