Navigational aids:
Niechorze Lighthouse, a grey 8-sided tower with red stripes, on
a dwelling 45 m in height, stands on the foreshore about 12 1/2
miles ENE of the mouth of Dziwna River. There is a signal station
at Niechorze, but a continuous look-out is not kept.
Quayage and berthing facilities
On the beach there are wooden breakwaters. In the middle of the beach
there are three concrete moles for mooring local fishing boats.

General information:
Niechorze is a resort and fishing village situated on the sea coast
13 miles east-north east of the mouth of Dziwna River, between the
sea and Liwia Luza Lake. The permanent population is about 850 but
during summertime thousands of vacationists come here. Niechorze forms
a vacation centre of the Western Pomerania coast with typical high
cliffs overlooking the Baltic Sea. The characteristic old buildings
of the fishing village have been preserved. Among which are houses
from the 18th century, as well as a historic lighthouse built in 1866.
At present there is a small Fisheries Museum, visited by holiday-makers.
